A National-Park-Hopping, Social-Butterfly Sagittarius Documenting Love with Warmth, Wonder, and Wild Spirit

When you’re in front of my camera, I’m not following a script, I’m following you. I show up with intention and an open heart, allowing your day to unfold naturally so I can capture it exactly as it felt. My approach is rooted in honesty, connection, and truly getting to know you, so your photos feel like you — comfortable, effortless, and full of real emotion. I’m there to guide when needed and step back when the moment deserves room to breathe, noticing the quiet in-between pieces of your story that others might miss. I’m more than just your photographer.. I’m a steady, reassuring presence who’s walked this road before and is here to help you soak in every second.

The Tender Places My Stories Come From

getting to know me

My love for photography started when I was 16, when I asked for my first DSLR instead of a car and spent every day capturing anything I could. Life took me in different directions. College, becoming a young mom, until I picked up that old camera again to photograph my son and felt my passion come rushing back. What began as documenting his little moments soon turned into friends and family asking for photos, and gradually grew into a business built on genuine connection and trust. Photography became more than a hobby; it became a way for me to preserve stories the way my mom did with our scrapbooks and albums. Holding memories still in time, like that old tintype photo that sits on our shelf. Through it all, I realized that photography isn’t just about images; it’s about capturing the feeling of a moment, so it can be felt again and again.

Who I love

I’m living a life I once quietly hoped for, well-traveled, full of new experiences, and surrounded by the people I love most. I married my best friend, Sean, in Seward, Alaska, with our family and kids beside us and the beauty of God’s creation all around. It wasn’t elaborate; it was simple, intentional, and exactly what we wanted. Now we’re raising three amazing kids — Parker, Ashlee, and Grady. Who fill our days with joy, purpose, and a little bit of chaos. Most of the time, you’ll find me on a ball field or in a gym, cheering them on and soaking in these seasons that go by so quickly. I’m grateful for a life rooted in love and grounded in what really matters, a life that continually teaches me to slow down and pay attention. And honestly, these everyday moments are what inspire me most in my work.

My why

My “why” comes from a lifetime of being the person others can turn to — the eldest daughter, the eldest granddaughter, the empath who felt things deeply long before she understood why. I’ve walked through enough seasons to know what matters. Those experiences shaped my faith, gratitude, and the way I connect with people. I’m a social butterfly, someone who collects friendships from every stage of life and nurtures them the way I nurture my garden at home, with care, intention, and consistency. I find beauty in the ordinary and meaning in the messy, full, wonderfully busy life I live. Chasing sunsets, journaling through the hard days, listening to records, or exploring somewhere new. Photography is simply the natural extension of all of that, a way to honor people, their stories, their connections, and the moments that make life feel honest and deeply human.
